Cheating For Plating?

As seems to happen a few days after the start of every Contingency Contract event,  another wave of bans and suspensions has been announced for players for players using cheats, plug-ins, and automation software.  Is the medal plating and "Arknights PVP" worth risking a ban?

Commonly asked questions and answers can be found below.

Common Questions:

Q: How can I find out what is bannable and not?

A: Yostar's Terms of Service can be found here.

Q: Is using an emulator a bannable offense?

A: No.

Q: Is using macros for farming a bannable offense?

A: Yes.

Q: Is using macro functionality that is built into an officially supported emulator a bannable offense?

A: Yes.  The emulator is fine to use to play the game, but not the macro/auto-clicker functions, even if it is a built-in function of a supported emulator.

Q: Is having a second account (aka clue slave) a bannable offense?

A: Technically, yes, though personally I have doubts that they would ban you for a few extra accounts.  Most likely their concerns are mass account creators who intend to sell.  But keep in mind, it is technically bannable.
