Kevin - APRIL FOOLS!

Operator Kevin's place of birth is left as unknown due to the operator's own unwillingness to divulge much of his past. What he is willing to share though is pretty much the same as what Rhodes Island has known: that he used to be a Reunion Member before retiring due to various circumstances during what happened in Lungmen. A thorough investigation followed with several references from other operators, in particular Operator Ethan, have determined Kevin is not a threat and he is indeed worth hiring. Tactical analysis shows that he is particularly skilled in dynamic battlefield situations with his jetpack such as search and rescue, suddenly ambushing the enemies when needed, et cetera.

He currently serves Rhodes Island in a special ops team along with Operator Ethan, providing Specialist support.

Imaging tests reveal blurry outlines of this operator's internal organs, clouded with abnormal dark spots. His circulatory system shows an abnormally high rate of Originium particulate matter. With other signs of Oripathy infection, we can confirm that the operator is indeed Infected.

Operator Kevin has only joined Rhodes Island after much persuasion from his old friend in the Reunion Movement, one Operator Ethan. The former's reluctance to join Rhodes Island seems to be mostly based on his prior experience in the Reunion Movement, which left him weary of violence and conflicts.

Kevin seems aware that joining Rhodes Island would mean leaving the peaceful life he fought so hard to create for himself, yet he has still elected to join Rhodes Island in the end. Whether this is because of his close ties to Operator Ethan or because he believes in the mission of Rhodes Island, remains to be seen. But if he truly joined Rhodes Island because he believes in our mission of saving the Infected and curing Oripathy, it would be our duty to repay such trust in kind.

Operator Kevin was part of the Airborne Division back when he was still with the Reunion Movement. Using jetpacks built from spare parts and scavenged remains of Ursus Military equipment, Kevin and his team would sweep down from the sky to ambush and eliminate their targets. This is certainly a crude tactic based on the unreliable quality of the jetpacks used by the division, yet it was still sophisticated enough to work.

Other than his jetpack, Operator Kevin is also able to use a kind of freezing Originium Arts. Operator Kevin has been tight-lipped about where he learned these Arts, but we have been able to confirm that the technique matches that of Miss FrostNova's Yeti Squad. Whenever the subject of the Yeti Squad and Miss FrostNova was brought up, Kevin would settle into a mood of melancholy and self-deprecation. We can only hope that being close to his old friends from the Reunion Movement, such as Operator Ethan, can help to lift some of that psychological burden from his psyche.

On the topic of how Operator Kevin managed to survive the battle in Lungmen, the story is one that has been voluntarily told by Kevin himself, and proceeds to spread like a wildfire across Rhodes Island. Many laughed at his story, though not unkindly, while many have also expressed concern. Some Operators from Engineering Division offered to check his jetpack lest such malfunction happens again, and several Medic Operators have offered to examine him further for any injury still left from his fall. Operator Angelina even offered to teach him how to fly, although it's obvious the two fly using two very different methods. Kevin has reacted to these offers with various levels of exasperation, but it was obvious he was touched by the sentiments from his fellow Operators. Indeed, it would do him good to be able to feel at home at Rhodes Island.

In regards to Operator Kevin's past, although the person in question doesn't want to divulge much, it's easy to infer from bits and pieces that he used to live a life typical of the Infected: one of discrimination and ostracization. It was only when he joined the Reunion Movement that his "boring tale" started to change, in his own words. Apparently Kevin had been a part of Reunion since around the time of the original founding, which would put him as the senior one to his "old boss", Crownslayer, in Reunion. When asked about this subject, though, Kevin was seen to blush and mutter about "this and that". Further questioning was stopped to respect Operator Kevin's privacy.

On the other hand, Kevin being part of the original Reunion Movement before the drastic radicalization at the hand of a certain someone gives Rhodes Island a unique opportunity to reapproach the issue of the Reunion remnants. This perspective could even shed some light on the truth behind one Talulah Artorius and a certain someone. However, this line of thinking was promptly shut down due to the sheer level of complication of the matters regarding Talulah and her connections, as well as the possibility of the security breach. Sometimes, ignorance can be bliss....
