"Hello, Doctor, Miss Ch'en recommended me. My name is Raphaella, and I'll be officially joining Rhodes Island today. Eh, callsign? Hmm... call me La Pluma."
-------------
Real name Raphaella Silva, a Liberi girl who gives people the impression that she's a bit lost. The daughter of a "Real Bolivarian" Lieutenant, she was taken in after her father's death by his comrade Pancho, and became his adopted daughter.
She rarely expresses her intentions, and rarely talks to others. She gives people the impression that she's a bit floaty during her day-to-day life, to the point that when she first joined, some Operators thought that Human Resources made a mistake. But of course, this misunderstanding is usually cleared up after witnessing her in battle.
-------------
La Pluma is a 5★ Reaper Guard, a new Archetype that is an AoE variant of the Enmity Guard.
Talents and Skills
Archetype: Reaper Guard
Trait: Cannot be healed by allies. Attacks deal AoE damage. Every enemy hit during attacks recovers a certain amount of HP (up to Block count)
Talent: Increase ASPD for every enemy killed (Can stack up to a certain amount)
Skill 1: The next attack deals a certain amount of Physical damage and hits twice
Skill 2: Reduce Attack Interval, increase ATK. When attacking enemies below a certain amount of HP, further increase ATK
First Impressions
Note: These are first impressions and based on conjecture since we don’t know the exact details.
Another day, another new Guard Archetype. The Reaper Guard appears to be an AoE variant of the Enmity Guard Archetype. Their self healing on-attacks and inability to be healed by allies make them good candidates for solo missions or lane holding. La pluma's kit is offensive and enhances her self healing. All of her abilities both increase her dps, and increase how often she hits (which increases both dps and healing).
The increased number of targets of Reaper Guards will lead to more self-healing in multi-target situations, but their (likely) increased block count could also lead to more incoming damage. The increased wide-area melee range is interesting, and will allow them to attack enemies from placements that most melee Operators cannot reach. Overall, it seems they will have a similar impact and use as Enmity Guards, but in situations where there are multiple weaker enemies instead of fewer stronger ones.
