Quick Evaluation

+ S3: Some of the most powerful burst damage in the game. Most Swordmaster skills are Offensive Recovery, but Degenbrecher's S3 is Auto Recovery which makes it much more reliable than others in the archetype
+ Talent 1: Tremble is a unique status effect that enemies have to be specifically coded to be immune to. It makes it potentially more powerful than "common" status effects like Stun.
+ Talent 2: DEF ignore is already good, but Degenbrecher's is proportional, meaning she can deal heavy damage to even very high DEF enemies.
- Her burst is somewhat short. Longer duration skills like Mlynar's S3 tend to be a bit better. This is extreme nitpicking though.

When walking into the waiting room, Degenbrecher couldn't help but feel a little emotional.

本报讯 喀兰贸易的总裁恩希欧迪斯的身上有许多谜团,而其中,最令人好奇的,必然是他的保镖,前卡西米尔骑士竞赛三届冠军——锏小姐。

在本人的允许下,我们对锏小姐的生活进行了追踪——
早上起来,她会先去楼下购买早饭。早饭结束后,如果恩希欧迪斯老爷有工作上的安排或者这一天有山雪鬼的训练,她会出门。而如果没有的话,她会先在院子里锻炼两个小时左右,接着在书房里抄写经书或者读书直到中午,而后,前往不远处的商业街吃午饭。
吃午饭时,经常会有一些乡亲来找她,请她帮忙做一些农活或者解决一些棘手的麻烦(这似乎是这一带的一个共识——你中午可以在商业街找到锏,并请她帮忙,先到先得),而令人惊讶的是,锏小姐会一一应允,并在午饭结束后前去帮忙。可以说,锏小姐的大部分午后,都花在为乡亲们提供帮助上,而难得空闲的时候,她会进入雪山,寻找一些能够为她带来刺激的事物。
晚饭大部分时候都是请求帮助的乡亲们自愿提供的,或者也无非是在路边解决,然后,在银心湖畔散步一会儿,就会回到自己的住所,结束这一天。

锏站在半山腰处转身看向已经有些看腻了的谢拉格风光,想起第一次面对雪崩时的光景。
为了营救一对来不及逃难的夫妻,她不得不直面耶拉冈德的“翻身”——在谢拉格,他们是这样称呼雪崩的——那是一次很有趣的体验,她第一次意识到,她可以与自然角力,从中获得一些乐趣。
从那以后,每次谢拉格发生雪崩,救援队中总是会有她的身影。因此,她也成了许多谢拉格人心中的英雄。
实际上,我只是想要从对抗雪崩之中寻找一些乐趣而已,她想。
时至今日,谢拉格的雪崩预警系统已经变得有模有样了。在雪崩发生的前一天,监测中心就会发出警报,对山脚下的住民和行人进行警告和疏散,并组织封山,不允许任何人进入雪山——当然,她是唯一的例外。
当她看到那些用讶异的眼光看着她走进雪山的谢拉格人时,她想的是,她并不是为了输赢而来。

理想。
对那个流落街头的孤儿而言,活下去,吃上一口好吃的,就是她最大的理想。
为了这个目标,她提着一双破烂的锏从莱塔尼亚一路杀到了卡西米尔,从一个默默无闻的竞技骑士一路变成了冠军。
这一路上的所有人都在告诉她,活下去并不是一个理想,我们是人,我们应该拥有更复杂的欲望。所有人都对此信誓旦旦,她于是也有些好奇。
因此,那个莱塔尼亚的黑马尝试了许多他人所谓的理想,那些糜烂的、醉狂的、迷梦般的生活,她都尝试过。
她也见过所谓志趣高尚的人。
但是,她仔细辨认过,他们的欲望,归根结底,依然是让自己或者身边的人活下去,然后吃上一口好吃的。那时她就断定,这个国家没有她要的答案。
于是,那个名满全国的冠军选择主动被卡西米尔放逐。对了,商业联合会大概至今都不知道,如果他们没去找她,她其实是不打算拿第三个冠军的。
和“玄铁”的周旋确实给她带来了前所未有的威胁,她当时有两个想法,一是想问一问“玄铁”,他这样的强者,有着怎样的理想,二是如果最后技不如人,死在这里也没什么不好,卡西米尔实在是无聊了点。
结果,这两个想法都没有实现,她就遇到了一个自称来自谢拉格的青年贵族。
你似乎一直很好奇,恩希欧迪斯当初是用什么说服我的——没什么特别的,只是他是第一个让我觉得有些无法理解的人。现在,这样的人又多了一些。
我并不理解你、恩希欧迪斯,还有这艘船里的部分人,正如你们不理解我。
你们觉得我没有理想难以理解,但你们真的拥有理想吗?你们只是将他人的愿望拼凑成一座巨大的堡垒,然后说服自己,搭建这座堡垒就是自己的理想。
假如我现在问你们,你们想要做什么,你们能想出实现某个人的愿望以外的回答吗?
如果能够用生命来换取理想的实现,你们这样的人恐怕会毫不犹豫地选择交换,仿佛你们就是为此而生的。
我见过太多怀抱欲望溺死的贪心者,我也见过无数仅仅为了活下去却惨死的正直者,实现自己欲望而获得了理想生活的幸福者也不在少数,但是,你们这样的人的结局,我还没有见过。
所以,我选择了跟在他身边,所以,我会站在你的面前。
尽管去做你们想做的事吧,我会让你们活下去的。

行李差不多收拾完了,锏站在原本就十分朴素的客厅里,环视了一圈,想要确认一下自己还有什么东西没带。
去罗德岛只是一次比较长的休假,应该没什么特别需要带的东西。她这么想着,打算去窗边最后看一眼银心湖的景色。
走过客厅中央的地板时,脚下传来了和踩在其他地板上不同的声响,有些空荡的回声提醒着她,下面有别的东西。她的脚步瞬间停顿,她当然知道下面有什么——一把巨剑的剑柄,还在卡西米尔时用的那把。这也让她回忆起了一点往事。
实际上,那把巨剑在逃亡过程中,因为抵挡“玄铁”的箭而碎成了两半,她当时把剑身给掷了出去作为回敬,而剑柄则顺手带在身边——毕竟那时候,她没有别的称手武器。直到来到谢拉格,有了喀兰贸易的工匠们为她制造的锏,也就自然地放下了这把巨剑。
对于放下这把巨剑的理由,她曾经对Sharp说,因为谢拉格太狭窄了。她对别人也是这么说的,在这么说的时候,她其实想过,或许未来有一天,会有需要重铸这柄巨剑的时候,正因如此,她当初才会把它放在地板之下。
但是,此时,她忽然意识到,即使在明知即将面对谢拉格有史以来最大危机的那个夜晚,她也没有想起这件事情,这把剑柄就这样被她遗忘到了今天,如果不是此时的偶然,或许直到抵达罗德岛她都不会记起来。
“......看来,谢拉格是有点太窄了,而罗德岛,或许也不太宽敞。”
她想了想,不知为何笑了一声,然后继续走向窗边。
大概不会有用到这柄巨剑的时候了。

Appointed as Assistant 我可以帮你做些事情,不过,别指望我来做你和恩希欧迪斯的传话筒。
Talk 1 我曾在山下偶遇圣女,被她塞了一本经书。她说,若是无聊,不妨试试抄写经书。我听了她的建议,每天都会抄写一段。开始只是打发时间,后来,倒能放空一些,挺有意思。
Talk 2 莱塔尼亚、卡西米尔、谢拉格,差不多三个十年。在谢拉格的日子最无趣。没有对手,没有挑战,没有刺激。但回过神来,我已经习惯了驮兽的叫声、鞋子陷进雪里的触感,还有随身带点醒酒药。
Talk 3 拿第一个冠军,是为了证明自己。拿第二个冠军,是为了磨炼自己。拿第三个冠军,是为了让那些以为能操控我的人清醒一下。代价?几根玄铁的箭而已,只可惜没能和他打一场。
Talk after Promotion 1 我见过耀骑士了。不,不用帮我安排和她的比试,在这里,没有意义。要和全盛的她战斗,时间、地点、大势都必须正确。在那时,我们之间的胜负就意味着生死。不过,那一刻并不属于我。
Talk after Promotion 2 恩希欧迪斯把我当成一柄剑,这柄剑最大的作用不是杀敌,而是透过剑身的反射,看清自己的面貌。我越是强大,他越是克制。这种关系会一直持续下去,直到有一天,他不再需要一柄剑。
Talk after Trust Increase 1 成为冠军后,我回过一次莱塔尼亚。即使“莱塔尼亚残次品”变成了“天生的武者”,也依然不受欢迎。当我意识到那些人看我的眼神和过去没有区别时,我发现自己没那么讨厌这个国家了。
Talk after Trust Increase 2 几年前,我在经常光顾的饭馆里遇到几个不长眼的外国游客找碴,结果我还没有说话,老板就一把把我拉住,冲他们吼:“你们要对我们谢拉格老妹做什么!”我一直记得这句话。
Talk after Trust Increase 3 许多人仰赖你和恩希欧迪斯提供的意义生存,而你和他一样,乐此不疲。但对我来说,我只是又认识了一个不关心自己的人。好了,该开会了,喝了这杯水清醒一下。还有,别动,你的衣领皱了。

Onboard 锏。代号?你可以当作这就是我的名字。我看过合同了,我的工作内容看起来并没有什么区别,只是换了一个保护对象而已。

Promotion 1 这种走形式让我想起了喀兰贸易建立的时候,诺希斯一脸神气地当着其他人的面宣布我的职位。那时我就想要找个机会把他的头按在地上。
