RIIC Base Skills
Quick Evaluation
+ Talent: When an enemy dies within 8 grids of herself, recover HP
+ Decent self sustain vs large quantity of weak mobs
= Recruit only, but the Tags are fairly common
- Low DEF combined with S2's "unable to be healed" makes her a risky choice that must be well handled
Operator Overview
“H-hello... Uh... s-sorry, my horns... I accidentally broke your office door with my horns...”
Estelle is horribly self-conscious about her giant horns, which are not natural to her race but were triggered by her Oripathy infection. It’s a constant struggle for her not to withdraw from her friends and allies due to her anxiety and self-loathing. However, she’s not anxious during battle, where she stands firm as a 4* AoE Guard, able to Block-3 after E2 promotion and survive through waves of enemies.
Because Estelle doesn’t want her allies to see her fighting, she has adopted a self-sufficient fighting style. Her Skill 2, Sacrificial Strike, gives her a large ATK buff, but prevents her from being healed by allies for the duration (although passive healing from Talents like Perfumer’s Lavender or Angelina’s Part-Time Job still work). While Sacrificial Strike is active, Estelle relies on her Talent, Self-Healing, which restores HP whenever an enemy dies in a square surrounding her. Because Estelle can attack multiple targets, she can rack up multiple kills at once and heal herself for a large chunk of HP.
Despite her 4* rarity, Estelle is not a very beginner-friendly Operator. Like other AoE Guards, in order to really shine, she desperately needs to be promoted to E2 so she can Block-3 and attack 3 targets at once. Her high DP cost (another common trait for AoE Guards) can be a barrier as well. Even once you get her on the field, triggering Sacrificial Strike at the wrong time can mean certain death, especially if she’s blocking multiple enemies at the time. However, because of her self-sustain and AoE strikes, a skilled Doctor can rely on Estelle to hold off hordes of weaker enemies virtually indefinitely.
Newbie Tier List Explanation
Return on Investment isn't the greatest but she does have a few gimmicks, like heal on enemy killed, that can give her an advantage on survival over even the best in class... if there's no healers. New players may find her awkward to use for general use.
Elite Promotion Discussion
-
AoE Guards are the exception to the “What they gain at E2” rules. Upon promotion to E2, on top of their other improvements, they gain the ability to block an extra enemy (from 2 to 3). Since their trait allows them to hit the number of enemies equal to their block amount, this represents a potential butt-kicking increase of 50%. That is a significant increase, and is why AoE guards (like poor “Tier-Lists-Don’t-Exist-In-AK” Savage) often get overlooked and discarded at lower promotion levels.
Skill Discussion
S2M3 | None |
Note: This unit does not have Mastery grades. This means the unit is generally not one worth spending the resources of Mastery on. However this write-up should help with skill selection, should you want to use the unit regardless.
Estelle is a strong unit in a strong archetype. However, like all Centurions, she really needs E2 for the extra block count. Even though 4★s are comparatively inexpensive to promote, that's still a significant chunk of resources that are usually better invested elsewhere, especially for those newer players most likely to still find her useful. That keeps Estelle in the off-meta category. If you did want to invest into her anyway, S2 is the better choice. The higher Attack multiplier helps her punch through tougher enemies and kill quicker, both of which help her self-sustain despite the skill's drawback, and Mastery on S2 represents a well above average gain in Attack.

Profile
She received psychological counseling and a battery of examinations with her consent before officially joining Rhodes Island as a guard with a squad of operators.
Clinical Analysis
Increase Trust to 25.[Cell-Originium Assimilation] 16%
Severe mutation following infection, sprouting horns noncharacteristic to the race. Close observation recommended.
[Blood Originium-Crystal Density] 0.31u/L
Infection entering mid-stage, tests required to discern specific effects.
[Mutation Assessment]
Based on current observations of Archosauria, double horns are not an expected racial trait. According to Operator Estelle's own account, she has never had any manifestation of biological mutations growing up. Thus, the mutated horns are determined to be caused by Oripathy.
Archive File 1
Increase Trust to 25.In the past, Estelle has slipped into depression over the mutation and withdrawn from all social activity. It is advised that the Doctor provide further psychological counseling to prevent total self-isolation.
Archive File 2
Increase Trust to 100.Her fellow operators have stood in awe of her ferocity. To which Estelle responds with uncharacteristic withdrawal, opting for solo combat and giving her teammates a wide berth, focusing only on her commander's orders.
Archive File 3
Increase Trust to 150.Based upon current medical technology, the prospects of containing Estelle's Oripathy are more realistic. Monitoring of the patient's psychological condition has shown that she is more willing to 'accept the disease as a part of her and live in a non-human form,' which is a positive development. However, it is possible that this will be a source of instability in the future.
Based upon this assessment, the relevant personnel will must continue to evaluate and adjust their methods in order to actively guide Estelle to proper self-acknowledgement.
