Operator Overview

"Wolves have fangs, I have my blade. Wolves do not rest, neither do I."

Wolves are pack animals, and Projekt Red thrives when she is part of a pack. Red is a Fast-Redeploy Specialist Operator that excels at disrupting enemies, retreating, then being quickly available for utilization again elsewhere.

Her Talent, Chill, increases the minimum amount of damage that she deals, which is especially useful against heavily armoured enemies. Her first Skill, Execution Mode, grants her a brief ATK buff, and Physical and Arts Dodge chance, great for granting burst damage and survival when assassinating high priority enemies. However it is Red’s second Skill, Wolfpack, that takes full advantage of her fast-redeploy Trait. On deployment, Wolfpack deals AoE physical damage and briefly stuns nearby enemies. This is perfect for creating breathing room for a defensive line or disrupting troublesome channeling attacks from enemies such as the Sarkaz Caster or exploding spiders. This disruption can be utilized several times in a single mission.

Red has very low HP with moderate ATK and DEF stats, making her rather vulnerable, especially against Arts Damage. Players need to be sure they are sending her on a mission she can complete successfully. Red may also suffer from quickly increasing DP costs as a result of her multiple redeployments, an issue only exacerbated due to the difficulty in maxing her potential as a result of her high rarity.

Overall, this Wolf Hunter offers a unique tactical weapon to Doctors skilled enough to utilize it properly.

Projekt Red has had her ups and downs in the meta since launch. At times her damage has seemed inconsequential and her niches extremely fringe. At other times, such as the current here and now, her niches seem so valuable that she is useful even in an era of the hyper-meta Texas2 and Yato2. These days, she is very frequently more useful than Phantom. Being better than a 6★ is not something many 5★s can lay claim to!

Both of Red's skills are good, and the niches they fill are different which makes her one of the better graded 5★s. S1 will play better to her "minimum damage" Talent, and the dodge will let her get that damage in on some very dangerous targets that other FRDs would quickly die to. Meanwhile, her S2 is unique in how rapidly it applies stun. Many similar Operators have very noticeable activation times, and that difference in time can make a huge difference. To this day, no crowd-control is as rapidly applied as Red's S2. Be aware that the stun duration scales with Mastery level, so the later stages can seem extremely expensive for the gains.

All that said, Projekt Red’s total DPS is still fairly low, and the benefits she brings are most most appreciated in more Advanced content. For many players, she can seem a bit too "subtle" for the expensive costs when compared to more straightforward solutions. Investment into Red is not mandatory, but she will be extremely rewarding for those who value her unique skills.

Meta Use: Low

Explanation:  With relatively low ATK and ATK modifiers, the small ATK modifier from this Module won't make a noticeable difference in most cases, even if you are using her for her damage or an assassination role.  With so many better 1v1 damage options available in the current game, her primary use is typically for the AoE Stun, which this Module doesn't affect.

Base Skill Analysis

Red gains her second RIIC Skill at Elite 2.

Tied with Ch’enGitano, and Astesia for the highest Reception Room buff in the game.  A good Special Operator who might be considered for eventual E2 Promotion.

Operator Projekt Red's behavior in combat is not easily understood. Projekt Red's style seems more concise and... barbaric compared to your typical Operator.
In daily life, Projekt Red is a mystery, seldom opening up to fellow Operators. They also question her background, based on her lack of education and socialization.
Any mission requiring her presence signals great difficulty, with high potential casualties and losses, leading some Operators to nickname her 'Reaper in a Red Riding Hood.'
But with time, Projekt Red has started to show her innocent side and warmed up to some other Operators.
Maybe everyone will get to really know and accept her one day, and Projekt Red will become a real part of our community.

To Projekt Red, she and other Lupus are not 'wolves' as they are often called by the uninitiated.
Initially, the medical staff viewed Projekt Red as a basic education problem, until she showed inexplicable cognitive abilities in several tests. When faced with an array of randomly arranged objects, Projekt Red would find a way to organize them.
Some Medic Operators believe this to be a result of color blindness, that a defect or mutation in her nervous system enabled Red to recognize details imperceptible to a normal Lupus. On the other hand, some Medics believe Projekt Red has a unique Originium talent that enhances her awareness far beyond normal.
Since Medical suspended their testing, most Operators have begun to accept Operator Projekt Red's ability as unique.

I think it's a very dangerous proposition.
How will it affect Projekt Red? How has 'Grandma' affected Projekt Red? What kind of entity or collective is 'Grandma,'and how did it/they manage to affect her?
What's obvious is, 'Grandma' made Projekt Red who she is today. What she knows about the 'wolves,'how strongly other Lupus feel about her, and possibly many more secrets... Whatever 'Grandma' has planned is tied intimately to Projekt Red's future.
While I tried to formulate some contingencies before, ultimately I chose to destroy all files and research data.
I must not be rash.
This has nothing to do with any risk assessment or theoretical study.
Even though I cannot do nothing, I cannot be reckless, either.
I must seize every second of the limited timeframe we have to convince Projekt Red to acknowledge her existence.
