We do not usually make articles like these, but it is very important to address Silver Ash or "SilverAsh" because the unit is "Broken" or as some might call it "God Tier." He appears in the shop once, where you can exchange 180 tokens and redeem him, so it is possible to save up. However, it will be a long time before he appears on a solo banner again (the Chinese version is more than a half year ahead of us in progress and they have yet to see another solo banner with him). This Article is about letting you know that Silver Ash is an operator that many Chinese players have Regret over not getting.
What makes him so strong

“Compassion saves no one on the battlefield.”
Enciodes SilverAsh, the calm and collected owner of Karlan Trade, proves to be no less proficient in economic affairs than in the art of warfare. Now serving under contract with Rhodes Island, this Ranged Guard provides insane physical burst potential as well as valuable utility in the form of Invisible Reveal and Redeployment Time Reduction.
SilverAsh’s first skill is Power Strike γ, an automatic offensive-recovery skill which causes his next attack to deal significantly more damage when charged. His relatively high base attack makes this skill good for sustained damage, although it’s outshined by his other skills. His second skill, Rules of Survival, is a togglable skill that allows SilverAsh to enter a defensive mode, raising his defense immensely and granting him strong passive HP recovery while reducing his attack range. This allows him to hold positions by himself or function as a DPS-tank hybrid. SilverAsh's third skill, Truesilver Slash, is easily the most powerful in his arsenal, and is what spawned the plethora of SA memes across the fanbase. S3 reduces SilverAsh’s own defense but greatly increases his attack and attack range, and also removes the 80% damage penalty from his attacks. While this skill is active, SilverAsh's attacks will absolutely decimate up to six enemies with each slash. Although this skill turns him into an AoE slaughter machine and has a relatively long uptime, the defense penalty and long cooldown means that it must be used carefully. Whew, great kit huh? But that’s not all—SilverAsh also has great utility through his Talents, providing the entire squad reduced redeployment time and revealing invisible enemies in his range—truly making SilverAsh a premier unit.
SilverAsh is an extremely versatile Guard, boasting both strong defensive and offensive options as well as useful Talents. Harnessing SilverAsh’s full potential requires players to plan ahead and time his skill activations well, and mastering this elegant leopard will change your game forever.
He provides strategic support for some Rhodes Island operations.
In view of the fact that his true purposes are unknown and he doesn't have the most cooperative attitude, it is advised that we maintain a conservative attitude in order to minimize risks when working with him.

Huh? Kjerag's nobles like to come to Rhodes Island for medical examinations, too? Next time, please inform him: 'If you have no pending procedures, please do not disturb the medical staff. If you have, then please wait at reception for the Doctor to receive you.'
I'm simply not prepared to deal with someone so calm and collected.
- Medic Operator Warfarin
Because of its terrain, Kjerag rarely suffers natural Catastrophes or invasions. This has meant that the people of Kjerag have not needed to rely on nomadic cities to live and work. Of course, the steep terrain has also slowed Kjerag's development considerably.
The name of the Karlan Trade Company is probably derived from the name of the holy mountain the believers of Kjerag worship.
The trade company, run by SilverAsh, is the only window to the outside world for the insular and conservative nation of Kjerag. At the same time, this company has unavoidably changed the country.
It would be wise for Rhodes Island to research SilverAsh's record, given this level of power and vision.
That said, SilverAsh's thinking and conduct run counter to tradition, and are full of the progressive complexity and the intensity of modern education.
As such, SilverAsh, Chairman of the Karlan Trade Co. LTD, is a controversial figure at Rhodes Island.
Whatever the case, the other Operators have come to a consensus: SilverAsh is not an Operator who can be easily dispatched or controlled.
SilverAsh and his employees work very closely with Rhodes Island, but there is no hierarchical relationship between them.
Whether it is strategic planning or tactical command, many Operators find SilverAsh's prowess convincing. However, the more skeptical Operators familiar with political conspiracy and such machinations are wary of SilverAsh's intentions.
Although SilverAsh truly cares about his younger sister, Cliffheart, who is being treated at Rhodes Island, he trusts Rhodes Island no more than Rhodes Island trusts him.
Perhaps as the rumor says, what is really of interest to SilverAsh is the value of Rhodes Island Pharmaceuticals itself, as well as the Doctor he regards as a competent rival...
Dr. Kal'tsit is opposed to trying to make any further contact with SilverAsh. Though the Doctor may have other ideas.
Naturally, the incident had a huge effect on young SilverAsh's life. But as SilverAsh was the scion of a wealthy family and not a weakling by any means, he never sank into despair, and even kept raising his two younger sisters until they were old enough to take care of themselves.
Thereafter, SilverAsh left Kjerag and headed to Victoria to receive a modern education, and let the Silverash family's political enemies divide up their legacy amongst themselves. The Three House Parliament of Kjerag was three houses in name only.
This state of affairs lasted until SilverAsh returned back to Kjerag. Upon his homecoming, the young master took upon himself the weighty responsibility of rebuilding his clan.
Now according to Cliffheart's testimony, the SilverAsh who had returned was no longer the gentle and precocious youngster he used to be, who would grit his teeth and bear all that the world threw at him.
Thereafter, the Karlan Trade Company quickly rose to seize a monopoly in a large number of modern industries that had previously been banned in Kjerag. He exported goods and raw materials to other countries and imported modern industrial products. In doing so, he accumulated a vast amount of wealth in a very short time, and the success of his company restored the Silverash Family name to its position in the parliament.
In what may have been a series of plays by rival clans, SilverAsh's two younger sisters each suffered a turn of fortune that would have a huge impact on the Silverash family: Pramanix was christened a Karlan Saintess in a religious ritual, and Cliffheart was infected with Oripathy.
Rhodes Island tends to believe that these were acts of political opposition, but Cliffheart thinks that these events merely once again catalyzed SilverAsh's resolve.
Now, no one knows what SilverAsh will do, just as no one knows the purpose behind his collaboration with Rhodes Island.
I am opposed to the dealings between Rhodes Island and the Karlan Trade Company.
No, I have not found any hints of anything sinister, nor do I have any proof of anything untoward.
I just want everyone to think this through carefully.
What is it that Kjerag needs right now?
The Three House Parliament of Kjerag is in a political crisis. The conflict between the Kjerag conservative faction and the reformist party have gotten more and more intense.
On the surface, the Karlan Trade Company is only concerned with foreign trade. However, its true owner is none other than Enciodes Silverash, head of the Silverash Family and opponent of the two conservative houses in the country's parliament.
You may also know him as SilverAsh, brother of Rhodes Island Operator Cliffheart.
I am convinced that the Karlan Trade Company doesn't pay a cent to the government of Kjerag. It isn't a state-owned enterprise! Its operations and business are controlled entirely by SilverAsh himself!
Modern military equipment has passed from Raythean's hands, through the Karlan Trade Company's channels, and into Kjerag. The conservative faction doesn't even have any means of tracing the whereabouts of the goods.
The trade route has already been moved to the foot of the holy mountain, Karlan. The Vine-Bear Court has already used SilverAsh's sister, Saint Pramanix, as leverage to try to get the Silverash family to leave the Three House Parliament and hand over control of the valley and mining sites.
The troops the Karlan Trade Company sent to the training camps have already returned from Ascarat County in Victoria. Where are they now? The conservative Kjerag guards don't have any idea.
So what does Kjerag need most right now? We are reaching a boiling point here. What do they need?
Pressure from outside.
Just a little bit of pressure from the outside. Just the tiniest little push...
The avalanche will bury all of Kjerag, including all of its conspiracies and all of the matters of the past.
I admit that perhaps the Karlan Trade Company isn't hiding anything dangerous.
Even so, should we really put ourselves in danger just because Cliffheart received a secret letter?
At the very least, Rhodes Island as a whole should not assume this magnitude of risk.
--Dobermann, at the meeting 12 days before the incident at the mountain.
I don't think the stories everyone's heard are so terrible. Everyone's life has a trajectory that wobbles as the world turns. It's normal.
Therefore, I don't want anyone to think of Mr. SilverAsh as a threat.
To survive in this land, you need to have trust and cooperation. Since Mr. SilverAsh now regards the Doctor and Rhodes Island as partners, even if Rhodes Island doesn't want to rely too much on the Karlan Trade Company's help because it is skeptical of Mr. SilverAsh, we should not regard him as an enemy.
If you regard someone as an enemy, then subconsciously you will treat them like one. The two sides will drift apart, and even if they could have become friends, they will become enemies.
I know what Dr. Kal'tsit said about hidden enemies...
I just feel that whether or not SilverAsh will really become our enemy depends on the relationship between the Doctor and Mr. SilverAsh, and not on the abilities, strength, or behavior of Mr. SilverAsh alone.
Let the Doctor take care of it, as Mr. SilverAsh's designated handler.
And that's that. The Doctor will handle this situation.

Despite being at the center of the discussion of powercreep, SilverAsh is still one of the top DPS units in the game. In addition to two extremely powerful Talents, he has historically been *the* high Damage-per-hit (DPH) Physical damage unit, the most valuable form of damage. For much of the game's life, this guide has suggested SilverAsh's S3 as the more important Mastery in the game. That probably isn't true anymore due to newer units; however, SilverAsh is no weaker for it. He is still one of the best units in the game, and still has some of the most important Masteries. There are just more options these days.
In addition to the all important damage increases on one of the best DPS units, as well as an extra target, his S3 Masteries drastically improve his skill’s initial wind-up time. Like many early units, SilverAsh's SP cost is abhorrently high after its first use. However, the large improvement to the initial wind-up means that he can instead retreat and then redeploy after his initial skill use, which not only improves his effective cycle time but also frees up a deployment slot in the interim.
While he may no longer be the *best* target for Mastery anymore, he still has some of the most important Mastery gains in the game. SilverAsh at S3M3 is a different monster than at SL7 and he should be highly prioritized.
Finally, consider Mastering his S2 if you like off-meta builds or his character. Even though it’s ungraded, his S2 gives a ton of self sustain that few other units have. It makes for a fun alternative. Just remember it is a fringe option. His meta usage is his DPS, not his tanking.
- 3rd Skill - Truesilver Slash - Erases everything evil, brings you breakfast in bed, cures cancer, does everything but continue the bloodline. This Skill gets a lot of hype, and for good reason. It’s a melee attack with a large range, a hefty ATK steroid, hits multiple targets (including aerial ones), and has a decent duration. It has a long cooldown, but can absolutely trivialize some difficult content and is widely useful in almost any stage.
- Talent 2 - Eagle Eyes - Reveals invisible enemies in his range. A rare niche ability that isn’t often needed, but can make all the difference in a stage with invisible enemies.
- Talent 1 Upgrade - Leader - Gives a moderate self attack buff and redeployment cooldown reduction for all allies. A notable self-synergy is that SilverAsh can activate a second S3 faster by retreating and redeploying rather than waiting for his skill to charge again.
+ Talent 1: Unconditional self-attack buff and redeploy time reduction for all squad operators.
+ Talent 2: Reveal greatly reduces the threat of Invisible enemies.
+ S2 has a huge defense buff and self-heal, allowing for more aggressive/isolated deployments.
+ S3 has a massive range and shreds through low/medium defense enemies.
+ S3 is a great helidrop skill and is ready almost immediately after deployment.
- S3 has an extremely long cooldown, decreasing his ability to clear frequent and consistent waves of enemies.
- S3 comes with a sizable self-defense reduction, making him much squishier on-skill, which often coincides with the most dangerous parts of the map.
Vulgar ambushes have no meaning in front of him, and to confront the fools who try to win in numbers, what you must do is utterly simple—buy him time.
SilverAsh is an extremely valuable operator, even at E1. Although the most significant parts of his kit (S3 and Talent 2) are locked behind E2, he is still valuable with just what’s available at E1. With a large range and ability to hit aerial enemies, SilverAsh can function as both a guard and semi-sniper DPS. His S2 allows him to act as a tanky defender. The ability to perform well in multiple roles is specifically beneficial to newer accounts, which might not have an extremely developed roster with strong units of each class. Investing in E2 greatly increases his DPS potential as well as providing the niche of Invisible Reveal, which is helpful in certain stages with many Invisible Enemies.
+ Very long range for a melee Operator.
+ Benefits from a large amount of relics.
+ S1: Surprisingly powerful sustained DPS.
+ S3: Extremely powerful, multi target, air-hitting burst of long-lasting Physical damage with massive range, and can be helidropped.
- S3: Long downtime requires good map knowledge to optimally use.
Click his name above for open his Character Overview.
What makes him strong is his 3rd Skill or Elite 2 Skill. Which allows him to gain a lot of range, can hit up to 6 targets and cleave them down.
This includes the following
- Melee Units
- Invisible Units (Has Eagle Eye Talent which allows him to reveal them)
- Airborne Units
Here is a Gif you should check out.
As a final note, SilverAsh is known to "Solo" the 3rd Annihilation stage. Feel free to look at YouTube videos of Chinese run where they include SilverAsh, and you will see some crazy stunts that will not be possible on any other units. His Voice Actor pulled him, and he basically says that SilverAsh has Cheat Codes enabled.
So I did pull SilverAsh, which setups does he work in?
SilverAsh can work in any Squad.
He excels at the following 3 Categories:
- Single Target Killing
- Tanking
- AoE Cleaving
SilverAsh Banner is out right?
Until February 5th, the banner will be out, as stated it has yet to re-appear ever since. He will be in shop once, where you can redeem him for 180 Yellow Tickets.
So if you feel like dolphin-whaling just this once, It might be worth it. Silver Ash/SilverAsh is a unit everyone may regret not getting, which is why this article was created. We usually otherwise never create articles like these.
This was Emma, if you wish to discuss anything related to SilverAsh, feel free to reach out to me.
