Operator Gustave Kateb, codenamed Doctor, a member of Team Rainbow, as well as one of the witnesses of the Krysztauowa Incident, was registered as a collaborator of Rhodes Island after the incident.

他在罗德岛上补给的时候经常会自愿去医疗部帮忙,用他自己的话说,“既帮助你们减轻些负担,也让我对你们的疾患有更多了解”。一开始大家只觉得有一个训练有素的医生帮忙是件好事,后来才发现医生可不只训练有素那么简单。
这个人对医学的各个分支了如指掌(有些分支的名字其他人甚至听都没听过),有一双出奇灵巧的手,经过一段时间的适应,也已经可以按照罗德岛的规范熟练应对矿石病引起的多种症状了——以至于医疗部有不少人都希望他在罗德岛上多待些时日,减轻他们的工作负担。

哦对,他还有个剪报本,上面主要是一些和感染者相关的新闻。聊到相关内容的时候,看着那样一个好脾气的人为了感染者的境遇怒火中烧的样子,反正我是会感到惭愧的。
为什么惭愧?
因为看到他的愤怒,我才意识到自己对感染者受到迫害这件事略微有点麻木了。我确实需要这样一个人的愤怒来提醒自己,不义就是不义,哪怕整片大地都对不义习以为常,我仍然有愤怒的权利......不,愤怒的责任。

在战斗中,医生不像闪击那样挡在所有人身前,不像导火索那样引发令人目眩的爆炸,不像艾拉那样用艺术家般的思路达成目标,甚至不像霜华,在意想不到的地点给人“惊喜”。但无论是彩虹小队中的哪一位,只要从通讯器里听见医生的声音,都会感到十足的安心与镇定——

医生的申请递到我这里的时候,我已经连轴转了三天,脑子一热,差点给激素手枪改装适配源石粉末-工业酮弹药的铳管。
不过话又说回来,这已经是彩虹小队武器中我改得最得心应手的一件了。整件武器依靠高压气体驱动,和常见的气动发射器至少在原理上没太大区别。我给它换了个气罐,让激素手枪能和一般的气动发射器用一样的气体,再就是降低一点换过气罐之后的动能,毕竟那东西是用来救人的,不是在嘉维尔不在场的时候咚的一声打在人身上,给人暴力正骨的。
还有一件不相干的事情,我觉得很有必要在这里提一句——千万别再把他和博士的申请同时提交到工程部了,太容易弄混了!要不是可露希尔觉得不对,医生带着上战场的就不是激素手枪,而是新修好的热水壶了!
