Should You Pull?

Yes. (In fact, if you’re a Phantom of the Opera fan, pulling is practically required as part of your fan cred.)

None of these Operators are gamebreakers, but all of them are very useful in their own ways. Phantom and Shamare are both strong members of rare archetypes, Cutter is a highly efficient anti-air twist on the traditional Dualstrike Guard, and Ptilopsis is basically a 6★ AoE Medic disguised as a 5★. None of them are bad options to pull for.

Even if you aren’t interested in these Operators (or Phantom of the Opera), you might still consider doing Headhunt x1 until you pull a 5★ or higher Operator, since one is guaranteed in the first 10 rolls.

Quick Overview

Fast-Redeploy Specialist

+ He gives you two Fast-Redeploy units for the cost of one Squad spot (him and his clone)

+ Versatile Skills allow him to provide damage avoidance/ soaking, burst DPS, or AoE crowd-control

+ Has the highest DPS of Fast-Redeploy Specialists, making him the best Fast-Redeploy assassin (especially if you can drop his clone on the same target)

- Typical archetype weaknesses: stats are unimpressive compared to other 6★ Operators

- He and his clone both cost DP, so he can burn through your DP quickly if used repeatedly

Debuffer Supporter

+ Usual archetype strengths: wide attack range, high base RES, cheap DP cost

+ Talent inflicts Fragile, increasing the damage taken by nearby enemies when they are low on HP

+ S1 makes her Fragile debuff even stronger, helping to burn through meaty targets

+ S2 deploys a cursed doll that reduces ATK and DEF of enemies within its range; a great way to reduce enemy DPS and make bosses/ elites less of a threat

- Usual archetype weaknesses: her direct DPS is so low that she is sometimes less effective than fielding another DPS unit (especially in the early game)

AoE Medic

+ As an AoE Medic, heals up to three friendly units at a time

+ Passively increases SP-per-second regeneration for all allies on the field

+ Incredibly powerful S2, granting rapid-fire healing to allies within an increased range

+ The preferred AoE Medic for many Doctors in situations where there are no Arts-DPS enemies on the field

- S2 has a very long cooldown, so use it carefully

Dualstrike Guard

+ Charges SP very quickly with her Talent

+ Her two Skills hit multiple targets in differing ranges; between both of them, her AoE is very flexible

+ Both S1 and S2 can hit aerial enemies, and S2 has double attack scaling against aerial enemies

= Skills have low SP costs but are [Attacking Enemy] charge type, so how quickly they charge can be erratic

- Usual archetype weaknesses: Lower ATK but double attacks makes her less effective against high-DEF enemies

- Talent has a low activation chance

Phantom

Image removed.

The Phantom of the Opera is here, inside your mind… and so is his clone! That may sound like the start of a bad sequel, but it’s actually the arrival of Opera-tor Phantom, who can create a clone of himself to get twice as much work done. What kind of work can he do? Well, he can deploy with a large shield and a Physical Dodge buff to soak damage, or he can deploy with stacks of an ATK buff for assassination, or he can inflict damage and ailments on enemies around him for crowd-control purposes. Then you can set his clone down once more and do it all again!

Shamare

Image removed.

Shamare’s odd powers might be mental suggestion, Originium Arts, actual magic, or any combination of the above, but there’s no denying their effectiveness. With the “help” of her doll Little Morty, Shamare inflicts debilitating debuffs on her enemies, leaving them vulnerable to her allies’ attacks and unable to muster a proper counterattack.

Ptilopsis

Image removed.

Ptilopsis is one of the most popular AoE Medics in Arknights, and for good reason. In addition to skillfully covering the healing needs of her team, Ptilopsis increases the SP regeneration rate of [Per Second] SP charge Skills, helping her allies use their Skills more quickly and more often. And don’t forget her Enkephalin Skill, which unleashes AoE healing at ridiculous speed across an increased range, helping her allies survive even the most determined of enemy assaults.

Cutter

Image removed.

Cutter is a Dualstrike Guard who is intent on dominating the air with her hail of blades. She smacks ground-based enemies around to charge her Skills, then unleashes a house-full of flying daggers to shoot aerial enemies out of the sky.
